I have a 15 STR. To balance throttle bodies, bleed ABS brakes and reset service lights you need to either connect the ECU to DEALERTOOL via a cable[$$$] or use TUNEecu lite on an Android smartphone, bluetoothed to a OBD2 dongle v1.5. I have the software and a cheap dongle but they are failing to pair. This could be because the dongle has a cheap chipset. If you have any experience with this system, what brand dongle have you got, how much and where did you get it? Cheers

Looks like the fault is with the Dongle being incompatible. It is pairing with the smart phone but not talking with the ecu. I think the next step is to get a name brand obd2 device and try that.

You need the 1.4 version. I bought this on Ebay, works fine. I did get a 1.5 but that didn't work. Good luck.

I bought one of these from Amazon for my Sprint ST:

I use TuneECU on a Android phone, works fine.
TuneECU doesn't like my no name bluetooth dongle which I use on my car just fine with different software.

Success, kind of! I got a BAFX OBD11 Dongle from the States. Now TUNEecu lite works but it won't allow me to sync the carbs. I will have to see if there is a more comprehensive app that
I can use to do this.

Bugger can do that on previous tuneEcu but that's a feature of the locked up system on the later models
