Funnley nuff...... I'd like to ride it myself, that make a change so hopfully Kick will pull finger and be sorted by then.

Hey D, why do you call it an MT?
Kickaha

The DR150 overbored stroker motor should be a runner by then so Dangerous had better hope I do blow it up as it's the only way he will beat me

17th October 2005, 17:11
Hey D, why do you call it an MT?
Because it was built based on the GP bike of the 70-80's the Honda MT125gp, which ran the Elseanor CR125 engine... as did my bike in the 80's, even won the Nationals, now powered with a MB100 :niceone:
atached is the 77- MT125gp

Jeez, they're cool photos, where did ya get them ?
Sorry, my bad, I thought your frame looked nothing like that and was some home built welding exercise.....no factory would send out a frame with welds like that on it, and yeah, it might have won a GP or two, but Steve Ward could probably have won on a standard MT125 trail bike!

Gav, are you in one of your shit stiring moods
The frame is very similer... be it 20yrs old and been down the rd more times that you have eaten a steak pies.... it has been moderfied (butchered) to take the MB bucket motor..... but you know all this dont you :brick:
Ps: the MT50 was a trail bike, not to be mistaken for the MTgp bikes

When Bren and I rode past the port on Thursday there was a transit sign out saying something about a road closure. Shoulda stopped to read it... NSRpaul- want to go and have a read of it? It's on the bypass just before the roundabout if heading in from Rai Valley

I've only raced it the last two years but unless the layout has changed I couldn't see any problems with it, it was certainly no worse than Greymouth or Hokitika
The course change last year cutting out the roundabout was better than the year before though
Did you run the bucket last year?
Must be enjoying actually finishing a race then? :finger:
