As in the title. I bought a couple of tyres and would like them fitted while I wait, like the car places? Most shops seem to want you to buy from them, fair enough I guess.

Thanks.

Budget motorcycle spares shouldn't mind, give em a ring.

Would have thought any shop will do it. Just charge a suitable hourly rate. More likely they will say drop them off and pick up at the end of the day thing as their workshops will be busy with booked in work.

have done that down here on occasion, but i do take my wheels out and drop them in, used to cost about $30.00 a tire, now tho the prices down here are more competitive so not worth it so i buy locally but still drop the wheels in and the price of the tire includes fitting, but thats only as long as i take the wheels out and drop them in.

I would suggest if the tuono is your bike, book in with the dealers,CMG, and leave the bike there until done. While you wait? Budget, but I would phone first.

Just to finish the thread off, I went to Budget and they put my new tyre on, while I waited (10 mins), for $25.75. Not bad I thought.

Cheers

Did you just take in a wheel and a tyre, or did you ride down and they did the lot?

I'll answer that without considering an alternative. Of course it was a bare wheel.

I'll promote the alternative - remove tyre, fit and balance new. For some reason disposal fees for old tyres have now grown to odd cents locally.

$10 a tyre at the dump in CHCH.

I really super hate DirtBike tyre replacement.

i'd have thought it would have had a tyre on it, the disposal of which costs a few bucks so pretty well priced in my mind

We'll I screwed that up in the name of clear communication.
I meant a wheel complete with tyre. Not mounted on bike.

Yes, just a wheel with a tyre. A Supercorsa SP V3 went on. I didn't realise disposal fees were so high, if it is $10 then it was a very good deal, I thought it was nearer to $5 but I have no experience.
