Hi guys. An odd question but there are clever people here.

I have acquired an abandoned Pajero. Still checking with police to be certain but so far looks genuine. High km 330,000, rgn 4 months out, and RUC looks finished. Locked up (not so much now) and nothing personal inside. No money owing.

No key. Anywhere.

Auto transmission locked so it can't be moved. Needs smart key to release wheels.

In this area cars are walked away from by backpackers because there is no market. No Mitsubishi dealers either although one place claims to service them.

I could try to get a new key but suspect that is $600+ and it is pointless if the vehicle is stuffed.

Is there any way to bypass the security system and the CPU so the vehicle can be started?

Maybe this is confidential stuff because there isn't much on the net. Fair enough don't want to encourage burglars. So if you can help but don't want to post, please send me a message.

Cheers

Thanks and the only answers I've ever seen are on Australia forms. But mostly they have a broken key which is crucial.
