Just the one, I think. Unless they are really, really small.

I find "night rod" to be a mildly disturbing name for a motorcycle.

i remember some of the early Katana ads didn't last long, 'live by the sword' people soon pointed out that often those that lived by the sword often died by the sword.....

is 'fatboy' the same name as one of the nuclear bombs they dropped on japan?

I don't know about that. I reckon it's just trying to target their market directly.. Like the Honda Predictable, the Ducati Poser, the Kawasaki Wanker, the BMW Mid-Life Crisis and the Suzuki Squid

Then there are hopeful ones like:

The Triumph Spitfire...a woefully underpowered swing axle MGB wannabe.

The CCM Spitfire seems about as optimistic, but it does come with a brown leather seat and matching grips. No exhaust tape though.

The Triumph Speedmaster.

Well, the early ones may have held some promise but the retro 860cc one I rode was laughable. Plus it sounded like a boiling mudpool. Blub blub blub blub etc

Confession time. Not sure if I want to do this but it's time I came out of the closet and proclaimed it.

I hanker big time for an XJ1200r Sportster in Orange

There you go I said it, internet suicide.

I thought they were XRs but they do look nice. I'm a sucker for orange. But look closer and it still has that ditch pump engine with a crankcase the size of the planet Earth.
Throw a TL Thou engine in there, that'd cook.

The Indian looks a little fussy. Too many parts.

Reminds me very much of my Monster 1200, but at 221kg dry and with a 12.9l tank, it doesn't quite have the same appeal...

Well, we both know that they do. this year or 19 will likely be the last of that lineage. I like them but simply dont see the value proposition even when measured against their own (i.e. HD) models. The sportster line new was $20k and a new base model big twin (Street Bob) was $23k. 15% more and it was functionally better in every way (talking the 2018 powertrain one though even the Dyna one was better as well).

Yeah, I've ridden Harleys. And liked them. Not an owner. When I was deciding that I wanted heavy, slow and underpowered I bought an old Honda....

You'd be a bit underwhelmed - I was. surprisingly nimble for a big heavy girl but if you're used to properly quick bikes this is not one.

Lot of fun though - the old "slow bike ridden fast" thing. Surprisingly decent brakes and cornering clearance. Also very tall in the seat (always an issue for me)

Well, no, I really don't follow what they make and don't read the sort of magazines that would tell me about them, but I assumed they did still.

Is that engine integral?
If so wtf is that frame cradle doing thereon the port side?
If not wtf holds the other side together?

If it's 180kg and 100lbft I'm up for a test ride. Looks.......
