Done doing what man?paint;...we(me and my painter) are hoping it will be one of the hottest R1's around..it's already making ok power at 153rwhp and I have put a bunch of flashy stuff on it like CRG leavers, ohlins damper, rear sets, adjustable clipons, etc, just needs paint to finnish it all off.
should have it all back in 3 weeks.
I have attached a pic of my painters Rizzla GSXR, should give u an idea of what he's doing for the R1

Not bad thats what my GSXR put out on the Dyno with 600k on the clock . When you going to hot it up :whistle:

I love the look of that classic cafe racer with the three pipes. It reminds me of my old NS400R with three pipes at the rear. Nice.... :niceone:

As far as I am aware Yamaha did not make a two stroke triple Motorcycle that was mass produced, did I cover my arse enough then?
Actually, werent Yamahas traditional race colours white and red? It was only the US that ran yellow & black.
I've only ever heard of that colour scheme reffered to as the Kenny Roberts colour scheme so you may be right, how did it come about then?
