I have a 03 comet and a 08 gt. My question is, the gt can hit 160 but the comet can barely hit 140. There is almost 1000rpm difference in revs between both bikes at 120. Both bikes have the same sized spockets. Can anyone tell me if there were any difference in the gear box ratios or is there something else that makes such a difference in revs??

Are you reaching max revs in both bikes or do they both stop accelerating before reaching red line
