Anyone out there got a pre unit single row clutch chain wheel ( clutch housing) in good condition and/or any other clutch bits?

The one on Marlon the 53 Thunderbird is buggered, and no amount of butter will help....

I was thinking repair but as you say new ones are not expensive.
I have a new set of plates, just get some rollers and the cush drive rubbers and I can be a rebel without a cause.

Get OE rollers. They're an orphan size from memory - 1/4 X 6mm I think.

Yes they are not too bad.

I was hoping for someone to say their shed was full of pre unit Triumph parts and just bring my van around and take them away.

This list is now clutch basket, rollers, plates ( I have) cush drive rubber and a new nut to replace the beautifully cold chiseled one...

These poor old bikes have had a lot of ham fisted owners.

The owners started out with normal hands but the swelling from the vibrations turned turned them into legs of hams

Mita Tyres arrived yesterday, thought give them ago instead of paying stupid prices for period looking Avons.

Looks like taking the rear wheel off is not a 5 minute job like on the R80 ST.:baby:
