View Full Version : Whangarei Learner CBTA test recommendations?

Hey all,

I've just got back from two months in Vietnam, a lot of which was spent riding nearly 3000km on a little 110cc semi-auto Honda Blade. It wasn't long into the trip before I knew I was going to want a bike when I got back to NZ so I'm now starting to look at getting stuck into the motorcycle road code and booking the CBTA test so I can get my learners and get on a bike ASAP (partly because I sold my car before I left for Vietnam).

I'm pretty set on getting a Kawasaki Ninja 400 at this stage and although I'd like to think I'm fairly confident as far as beginner riders go (especially after dealing with Vietnam traffic), I don't have any experience with manual bikes (although I spent my first few years of driving cars all in manuals).

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to get a bit of training on a manual bike and do my CBTA in Whangarei?

Cheers

They should do a longer course which gives you the skills to not kill yourself in the first 30 seconds of being on the road.

On a more positive and useful note.

Pretty sure something will be available for you in Whangas.
