I have recently purchased a semi-wrecked Yamaha FZR400 and looking at fixing it up over time.
Is there anyone on here wrecking one or have access getting parts for one?
- rear left indicator cover
- frame for the mirrors and mirrors
- nose frame (that holds the headlight speedo etc)
- headlight complete
Excuse my terminology, I am new to bikes.

You'll find it easier identifying parts if you quote the model ID.
Look on the frame by the forks, should be stamped in, a number and letter combo - eg; 3LN.

bobcee, i am pretty sure you have a FZR 3TJ possibly a 2, (which is a 1990 Model) they came out in 1989 as a 3TJ-1, but that model also went up to a 3TJ- 6 over time, look on top of the swing arm next to the rear shock.
I might have a few bits lying around for you as i have two of these as Race bikes.

Hey man thanks for the reply. This is what I saw stamped on the front of the frame next to the shocks - 3TJ-114224

Its a 1989 model...... 3TJ-I
Contact Howard or Karel at Prorider, i know they have a couple that they are turning into race bikes, they also might have some spare Road parts that you need, body work will be the hardest to find, not many of these bikes around nowdays, don't get me wrong they are a good 400 package.

It's registered as a 90 for some reason. But thanks for clarifying.
Sounds good I will get it touch with Prorider. Again, thanks for all your help =)

No unusual - 89 build in Japan, came over on the boat, sat in the shop then got sold in 1990.
There are heaps of bikes and cars like this, all those Suzuki Fest bikes are usually a model build a year or two earlier than the sale, rego starts at the sale year.

Does anyone on here know how to do a valve adjustment on one of these?
Happy to pay for your services, as long as it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg
