Hello going to get some new gloves and some boots for riding.
Any suggestions on some good one? My current gloves are not waterproof which makes for uncomfortable winter riding and just need boots.
Going to go into a shop (not sure which yet maybe moto1) to purchase to make sure sizing is correct.

I went glove shopping a few months ago. I found that I had to try a lot of gloves on to get a pair that worked for me.
Some pairs were inconsistent in size between left and right hands, or one glove had a tightness that the other one didn't. Must have one big hand or something.
I think I ended up taking the left glove from one pair and the right from another. Glad I did.
Mine are Alpine ( I think) gloves, leather coverage to the wrist with a nice long waterproof nylon gauntlet that seals at the cuff of your jacket. That's a nice handy feature. Double thickness on the palm, armour on the knuckles.
Not many gloves are fully waterproof by themselves. Chuck a dry pair in your back pack for the commute home.

Moto1 are a great bunch, so good to support them.
Motomail has a large selection to choose from and well worth a visit.
Winter gloves?
My recommendation would be Spidi Nordics. Seriously warm.

Moto 1 is at http://www.moto1.nz/
Motomail is at https://www.motomail.co.nz/
Bits 4 Bikes is at https://www.bits4bikes.co.nz/
1tonne is at https://www.1tonne.co.nz/
MotoGear is at https://www.motogear.co.nz/
Motorcycle Gear is at http://motorcyclegear.co.nz/
There's a fair bet if you glue some random assortment of motor, moto, cycle, bike gear between http:// and .co.nz, your browser will find others.
TradeMe is at https://www.trademe.co.nz/ and eBay.com and AliExpress.com are on the web too.
As to whether any of the online sellers will deliver anything, of the right quality and size, on time, I can only say I've been lucky. The more cautious I am, the luckier I get.
Your local bike shops (where you can try before you buy) are just around the corner, or maybe a pleasant ride away. Just take it easy if you don't have the gear already - or borrow a cage. They come with the "advantage" of "advice" and take-away service. [No complaints from me about the local bike shops: always pleasant and helpful. It helps that the staff are bikers.]

Motomail is a proper brick and mortar store in central Auckland. Very helpful staff. You can try almost everything before buying in person.
