Here are my two bikes - I don't have digital shots of all my husband's four bikes - I managed to find shots of his CBX550 and the R100RS (just as well, it's currently covered in bugs from last weekend's 1000 Miler!), and if you look hard you can see the XT550 and the TT350 in the back of the garage when our driveway was being concreted.

Much better than kids - far less maintenance, and when you don't want to deal with them, you just shut the garage doors! But we do have some little cute things as well - three cats, two swans, 12 sheep and nine lambs!

Then one dead ZZR followed by one fixed ZZR (DON'T talk to me about bloody ducks!)
Then we have the CBR600RR in the small gargre with SlashWylde's virago in the background.

The eagle-eyed will have spotted the mobility scooters in the background of photo 2 and the exercycle in the background of photo 4 - for the record i have in fact crashed both.

Glad to see the Yammy has been spared a fur seat cover ;) Def. not my thing :)

Mint old bikes though...always nice to see that someone keeps those classics in good shape...most of us seem to just obliterate our old bikes by meeting them with a tree or something (proof earlier in this thread)

mine is actually a 350cc [got her in the transvaal - they do EVERYTHING differently there lol!] only the pipes aren't original --- i've been thru about 4 sets in her lifetime and picked em for sound rather than authenticity .... she's still sweet though

marty
21st October 2005, 19:21
it's a remus exhaust, i'm thinking about putting the yoshis on it off the tl, but for one they're 4 stud not 3, and i think the entry diameter is smaller on the yoshi. the remus are fine and tuned to the bike though - just not too (read - enough) noisy. if the tl doesn't sell quickly, i might look harder at it.

*1985 - Honda GL400* (middle) - brought last year and had it for a few months. Spent some time on restoring it before trading in on the Hornet.

*1987 - Suzuki GN250* (right) - brought the GN from my dad in NZ about 1994 and later 'toured' (oh yes) on it around England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland. Crashed one night on the way home from work and bent the front forks :crybaby: etc, etc. Managed to get it back together again though.
