So I joined their facebook page to see what they were about. They are full of hate. They hate gay people, trans people, brown people, black people and yellow people. As i stated the sole reason Seymour even had a seat in parliament prior to the last election was National has a deal where they don't run real candidates against ACT in a seat that ACt might win.

Closest IMO would be Ron DeSantis - Admittedly not a Country - but so far he's been very clear on individual freedom and liberty and he's been excellent on the Anti-Woke stuff.

Closest IMO would be Ron DeSantis - Admittedly not a Country - but so far he's been very clear on individual freedom and liberty and he's been excellent on the Anti-Woke stuff.

There's a few individual politicians doing a good job - Saint Seymour, Kemi Badendock, Trump etc. But on the balance of things, there are very few noteworthy Conservative Politicians.

Kemi Badendock looks promising, I've already said I respect David Seymour despite not agreeing with much of what he says. As for Trump and bully boy DeSantis, You are entitled to your opinion.

I'm surprised at how graciously you took the bait. Although one of the reasons I included them is how unrepentently forceful they are on certain issues - which is what many so-called 'Conservatives' fail at.

By their actions they seem to think Conservatism is merely doing what Labour did, but run properly.

There's alos Liz Truss who is occassionally onto something, JRM on some issues, not so much others. Nigel Farrage depending on whether you consider him to still be in Politics.

For many years bike-centric events have had a "no patches, dogs, attitudes" condition of entry and largely it works well (in the events - Brass Monkeys, Cold Kiwis, Sulphur City, and other rallies - I have attended). These may not be the type of events that the hard core 1%ers attend but I can only go by my experience. Asking people to co-operate usually works. Trying to force people to co-operate by use of threats often has the opposite effect.

Yes, I agree, patches are intimidating. Though, now they are tattooing them on their faces etc as well. I'm not convinced that removing some cloth from their backs are going to make these handsome young men any less intimidating.
My biggest problem for me is that the government is not supplying more resources, ie more police to undertake the task.

One day I was in court when a woman, presumably a solo mum, appeared on charges relating to her daughter's truancy. The girl just absolutely refused to go to school. What's the mother supposed to do? She's not allowed to do anything that could be viewed as assault. The daughter was almost as tall as her mum anyway. The woman was very obviously distraught and sobbing. The judge was sympathetic, he told the daughter to look at what she was doing to her mum. The girl seemed to get the message but I have no idea how successful that was long term.

Fining people who haven't got any money is a failure of an idea, but it is very Seymour.

I get what David says about trying to promote engagement and every vote/supporter at his level counts.
But it should probably be a clear example of tone deaf in terms of something that is not and has not been acceptable for a long time.
