...If you can?t have a sport focused bike for track riding, you can still have fun in the right group. If you learn and practice the basics well, it will also make for safer more confident street riding while practicing the same principles on the road (just slower) Perhaps get a good sport / race coaching book and study it?

A big Thumbs up to the awesome folk at Motott. I asked Ed, the very helpful freebee track day coach, about the best way to approach the sweeper at the end of Puke front straight. Only looking for verbal advice, with no hesitation he said he?d follow me and see where I might improve... this was straight after a physical session on his BMW track weapon! The pointers he gave me were gold. felt the difference the next session. You?ll see a pic at the end of the Puke video showing Ed in his Dayglo vest on my tail...graphically illustrating the difference to what I should be doing i.e. leaning my shoulders more into the corner so the bike is slightly less angled. You mean ZRX1200R...yep them too. Never ridden one. They seem rare. Would love to sample one.

there was also a zzr1200 for a very short amount of time.
they should also include zx14 in the top list as well.

It?s really aimed at low powered low revving, grunty upright riding retro style bikes of old...what I cut me teeth on. Punting a modern 200HP ZX1400 street goliath to near its limits I?ll leave to the younger fitter trackday species :ride:
