If she is even slightly smart there is a stash of notebooks, video and audio recordings placed with a third party and which will be released if anything untoward should happen.

I'm guessing that all of the time she's been "unavailable" has been with her writers, getting the manuscript up together.
Then placing specific instructions that if any "accident" were to happen to her while in "safe custody", the release would be triggered.
