Anstey to race again
The New Zealand motorbike legend Bruce Anstey has confirmed he'll return to racing in August.
The thirteen-time Isle of Man TT winner will make his racing return at the Donington Classic Motorcycle Festival.
50 year old Anstey missed the entire 2018 season after battling cancer, but has been passed fit to race again.
His upcoming festival appearance is set to be his first race since his diagnosis, having last taken victory at the Classic TT in August 2017.
"I'm so looking forward to getting back on a race track; its two years to the month since I was last able to race. To make my comeback at Donington with the CRMC is a dream come true! Hopefully we can then move on to the 250 Classic TT," Anstey told Bike Sports News.

Be great if main stream media in NZ recognised him for what he has acheived and continues to but I spose
its not rugby, cricket or netball and he doesnt squat to piss:angry:

i spent some time on the phone today with the dominion post who are under the stuff banner getting through to someone who actually recognised that Anstey's ride this week was worthy of a story, cancer, comeback and queens birthday honours as well as the reputation of the sport were what it took, dunno whther i can take credit for the story published but i didn't just sit back and do nothing.

Regardless of whether or not it had a bearing well done for doing something about it.

Good on you, I actually saw the article today and was pleasantly surprised. It looks like you had done a fair bit of the leg work for the journalist
so maybe that's the key?
