well for me anyway. following on from the country & western thread, i have started listening to Salmonella Dub, Dub Asylum, Audioslave, Katchafire, and other funk-based NZ bands. i have found it's really cool sunday cruising music, although it works at speed too!! It's my recommendation of the day :)

How about Fat Freddies Drop? Great band, their first proper album is excellent.

me and my mates have started a band called 'the french poodle experience'. WTF i dont know why either. one of our first song was 'post-it notes of the apocalypse' and we are starting to work on 'horizontal intoxication' [drunk off sex] :headbang:
