Hi all,am fitting race tech 1090 fork springs to my bike and wondered if anyone who has done the same could give me an idea of the preload spacer length, rt springs are 10mm longer than standard. Bike is 07 SV1000N Cheers.

You probably should talk to Robert Taylor about that. There isn't anyone that specialises in that up here that I know of?

That could depend on where the op bought his springs? Robert sells Racetech.

The SV's certainly benefit from a fork upgrade. I had a 650s, had the forks upgraded at great expense but did reap the benefit. Mind you, the GSX-R600 forks piss all over anything my SV could do even after the upgrade.
