Been to one of these in England a few years back - very nice. I finally get to have some leg room at the flicks! Plus a beer, which is nice.

Auckland cinema goers will soon be able to enjoy the movie experience complete with recliner armchairs and a fully licensed bar.
Two Gold Class cinemas will open at Village Skycity Metro in Queen Street from December 2005.
The cinema auditoria, one with 30 seats and one with 40 seats, will feature sweeping wall-to-wall screens and superb state-of-the-art digital surround sound. Electrically operated, fully reclining armchairs arranged in pairs, complete with footrests, personal tables with beverage holder and wine coolers enable patrons to be waited on hand and foot.

Sounds like where I live but even more exclusive. I've only got four chairs and a couch.

Aucklanders can allready enjoy all this, it's called the "Circle Lounge". Berkley Cinemas have it at their Botany Cinema. Saw Star Wars EP 3 there, bloody nice too.
Look up http://www.circlelounge.co.nz/

Having said that the Gold Class looks to be an improvement on the Circle Lounge concept.
Looking forward to it...

Are you allowed to fall asleep and snore through the boring bits?

Only problem is there are no good movies to watch.
I think there may be one or two on their way which might improve.
