So I've finally started putting back together the bike I've been working on and I can get it to start.

It's got compression, Fuel and it got spark once but I haven't been able to see it again since.

I was told that the battery wouldn't be an issue for it to start. It's sitting at around 2.5V off its normal 6V so I'm a little skeptical. Would this be the problem?

It's my first time working on a project like this as it was handed down to me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Cheers

Fix the battery issue then try starting it.

On the TS the battery isn't essential. It should have spark without the battery in at all.

Disconnect the killswitch if it has one

Not much to go wrong with these ignition systems.
