WTB: Cheap 250 in need of some work

Hi, I'm a BEng student in look of a small project to fiddle with.

Im looking for a 250cc roadbike in need panel/paint work (as I plan to paint it anyway) and some minor mechanical work is fine too.
At the moment im probably only looking for something under $1000, but if you have something similar contact me.

Have GN 250 for sale, is actually quite tidy but want's valve stem seals replaced... Reg, W.O.F etc etc $1500.00 and it's yours...
