Unknown motorcycle instrument cluster

Anyone know what this instrument cluster is off?
I've been cleaning up boxes of bucket racer parts and came across this. It's not off a bike I've owned.

Guesses thus far are either a mates 1986 cbr250rr or kawasaki ninja 250 (unknown year)

Looks the same as this which is MC17 Honda CBr250 other then than the redlineand the colours
