Hi, am in the middle of a restoration of a Honda 1982 CB900F2B bolador, repairs to fairing/ sidecovers etc, is my latest job to endure, it's the silver an white model not that that makes it any different, but cant seem to find out or get any tech on the type of plastic so as I can weld an repair.
Has anyone got any info on this issue ?

Most fairings etc that I have come across are moulded from ABS. They sometimes have a part number and the ABS moulded into the part on the inside of the component.

Good luck, I 2nd the previous post, 80's plastics could be anything but oem will have a manufacture moulding somewhere on the inside, if you have problems this site is handy for odd plastic:
