Stole this from VFRD, who in turn stole it from "Raptors and Rockets".

Check out the DN-01 (pic below).Certainly not my "Dream New" bike. Automatic transmission eh? And they call it a sportsbike too!
I wonder how popular all these new innovations will be in the *real* biking world when/if mass produced and exported to the US, Europe, and even maybe way down here in the uttermost part of the earth?

Only bike that remotely took my fancy out of all those was the gsr400.

As someone said there, I'm not sure what the obsession with automatic gears is at Honda. I could understand some sort of "Cruise control" for the US market (or anywhere else they have long, straight roads where you run at 55mph for hours at a time) perhaps, but otherwise, not sure what the benefit is on a day-to-day basis.

Well it'd certainly be nice to get some news on what they're coming up with - I get to see the odd snippet about concept bikes and we've had some "This is the new metal" special issues of mags in the UK, but guessing there is stuff they never bother to report to the 'gajin'.

Of course, I was thinking about being laid-back and relaxed, rather than hitting the speed limit (and if you believe that, you'll believe anything!)
Actually, it varies from state to state as far as I know. I think there are a couple of states where they actually REDUCED the limit to 50mph when the nationwide limit law was repealed.

Its not automatic gears, its variable belt licensed from audi.

HAHAHA!!! Like anyone on an open road would be staying at 50. Shit hard for me to stay under 80 on some of those roads. Flat, straight and boring, alost enough to put you to sleep.
