yes, a cheap one and a fucked engine cause it was cheap and wouldn't work when required.....
does it have a brand on it, some like bosch you can get off the shelf

You should be able to find a decent quality aftermarket switch if you know the specs of the OE one. BNT are usually a good place for quality parts.

Try ducatispares on trademe or fastbikegear.
Worth also a search on the ducati forums for an alternative or just the specs. The switch itself is nothing special, more the thread and possibly reach of thread.
