High speed chase on Johns Road, Christchurch, 3 pm (ish)

The dude was going at least 200 kph southbound with a motorcycle cop about 1 km behind trying to catch him? The *perp was on a big V twin with a white tank. I saw it from the dog park. I think he might have got away.

I checked The Press and didn't see mantion of it. Did see an interesting video clip about night life in Huntly. A guy drove a loader through a boy racer meet.

That happened in Upper Hutt (Silverstream) a while ago. Naturally the cops came down on the driver like a ton of bricks, while completely ignoring the bois who had ripped up the road surfaces and done other damage
