“Long Way Round 2” to follow “Motorcycle Diaries” path?

Rumours are doing the rounds that the follow up to the “Long Way Round” will take the same path as “The Motorcycle Diaries”, which relates the tale of a trip around Latin America by Che Guevara. Only this time, Jude Law may be accompanying Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman.

It seems Law was looking for a means of escape following an “awful year” in which he split with long-term partner Sienna Miller and was inspired by the scenery in the film. Then long-term friend McGregor set him a DVD of “Long Way Round” and the rest fell into place.

Would be cool if they did. Isn't Charlie currently working towards doing the Dakar? Or has that been?

Would be a great trip. From what I hear a lot of those roads haven't changed from when Che did them.

You could ask him personally since he will here in November... at selected BMW dealers (main centres?) going by the DVD.

Charlie seamed very reluctant to spill the beans on that topic when he was in AK 2 weeks ago, but yeah it would be wicked to see a new series

I asked him and he said that they heard that rumour the same time we did.

The bit about the rumour that he and we heard, was about Jude Law going round the world on a bike..

The Dakar race is not until next year
i talked to him at the ride and he said that him and the team are in training for it.
