G’day,
I have been asked by a school to get involved in organising a fund raising trail ride and someone brought up the idea of including a adventure/dual sport track on the day. It would be farm tracks of approximately 40-60km and we can make sure that one of the routs is doable on a 200+kg bike. The school is remote, 44 km down a twisty road and there will be free camping on the sports field for those interested. What are your thoughts? Do you think there would be any interest in this?

Cheers
Tim

awww yeah but lots of dual purpose or ADV bikes are way more than 200kg, haha.

I like the idea of camping, depends when this was planned?

ADV / Dual sport loops are becoming very popular overseas.

Take away the fear of smashing a very expensive bike or being stranded in difficult terrain and you could be on to a winner.

To give you a idea of the tracks, some of the tracks in the video are very much accessible by adventure bike. Some would only be suitable for the more experienced or dirt bikes only, but most people would be able to get around on a bigger bike on most of them.
