Sad news from Brtain. Paul Smart, noted former Ducati pilot, has died following a traffic accident while out riding. He was 78.

Like Hailwood, lived on the ragged edge for so long and then to be taken out in a mundane road crash.

RIP Paul. He was a really approachable guy. I took this photo of him at Mallory Park, UK on a factory Trident. I'm pretty sure that it was 1970 and part of the Transatlantic Match Racing Series.
