X is in uproar because Biden declared Easter Sunday to be Transvestite Visibility Day. TVD is 31 March every year. Easter Sunday is a moving target. Next year Easter Sunday falls on Adolf Hitler's birthday 20th April. Obviously a cunning plot.

Actually it seems he was sentenced to death after breaking a known law (claiming to be king of the Jews)and apparently all due processes were followed. It is said he sacrificed himself to absolve the sins of others (basically all of humanity) by offering no defence during the trial.

Then God breaks out the duct tape and defibrillator on Sunday morning as Jesus has lived a true sinless life and was worth saving etc.

Once you do a bit of reading there’s lots of debate even about the actual dates but my brief synopsis above seems generally accepted among majority.

The Roman’s stole all his clothes as soon as he was up on the cross so it’s wonder he wasn’t arrested for public indecency coming out of the cave naked to repeat the process. Guess clothes were optional back then.

The date we use is more to do with a northern hemisphere fertility festival blessing the crops they just planted. Eggs and rabbits have nothing to do with Christianity, but they are rather obvious symbols of fertility. It would seem Easter as we know it was merged with an existing pagan festival.

F5 Dave
1st April 2024, 13:22
Eostre was a northern goddess that often appeared in hare or rabbit form. That's the true meaning of what we now call Easter. And of course where we get the bunny.

And that's more believable than the other nonsense.
