I want to get hold of Keith Code's video or DVD (preferably the DVD). Anyone know where it can be purchased in NZ (if anywhere)? Also I seem (???) to remember someone on this forum mentioning a bike magazine (can't remember the magazine either...brain is buggered) that came with the video? If so where can I get that magazine?
I can buy the DVD on the net from the US but worry about the zone isue so prefer to get one locally.
Thought it might help me be a better rider and need all the help I can get in that regard
Any advice muchly appreciated.

Don't know about in N.Z. but here in Perth is an outfit that has it. We have the same region as you.

Harvey Norman told me that nobody in New Zealand will sell region specific DVD players. It just causes too many problems.
If you can't come up with an address PM me and I will check the book TOTW2 to see what it says... (The pm is just to remind me, the memory ain't what it used ter be... if it ever was)

Thanks Marty but I'm too stubborn and too mean to fork out $59.95 (that's Aussie dollars as well) plus shipping when the same DVD is sold in the US for the low 20s (USD). It's a rip off.

Don't blame you, but did you notice at the bottom, it says 9% cheaper for overseas. No GST! The OZ/NZ dollar is pretty close now too.

Hi Kerry. I got a copy of that DVD with a magazine which I think is the Pommie mag "Fast Bikes" Aug 2005. The DVD is a edited version (about 15 to 20 mins). of the DVD sold in States.
I would not worry about region zone as stuff like this is usually All region coded. Meaning will work in any region. As above for the last few years all DVD players sold in NZ are "Region free" Of course if you are using a PC then Single region or owner chosen region gets locked in. Software around to negate this of course but more $'s.
I suggest that you try Amazon or Keith Code in US and get them to ship if its cheaper. The DVD is old though and is a good laugh. I hadn't seen a Kawasaki GPX600 for ages.
I trust this helps.

Thanks Motobob. Yeah, I think it was that "Fast Bikes" magazine now that you mention it. Pity it's only a short one. I'll check my DVD player (it's a fairly new Panasonic with a few bells and whistles so might be OK) and see what it says in the manual about zones. If OK I I'll try to grab one out of the US or maybe from Orstrilia if the US shipping is too dear.
Cheers for your help

The only region locking DVD players are all in computers. Having region locking drives in normal players is a nightmare. Computers scare the copywrite holders because you can rip a DVD and redistribute it via p2p/ftp etc.

Just buy the DVD and I'll rezone it to whatever you like for you :)
