Brought an Honda with just one key, new fandangled HISS style, what is the best way to get a duplicate please folks.
Haven't been to my local dealer cause the nearest one is over an hour away, none in wellington hutt valley these days.

Did it a year or two ago with my CB919. Ordered a key through my local dealer, they coded to the bike, I took the key to a one of those little outlets that could do key cutting and they matched it from the original...

Morning,
I contacted Rob Hadley at RS Motorcycles in the Hutt, who used to service my Honda.
His reply below:
Yes Motomart have relinquished their Honda franchise, I believe they are still doing parts until the end of November?
Anyway you can skirt around the Key issue by calling Beveridge locksmiths, they can clone most keys and will supply
the chip key too. You just need the model and a VIN number or Rego number for them.
They come to you and the cost varies from $200-$300 depending on the key...

hi long time lurker Im in titahi bay lock smith retired , let me check my gear tommorrow may be able to help if you come to me . I can do ducati guzi and aprilia pre 2012 for sure but have to run key through my reader first can also do yamaha if I have chips , this is copy only but I can copy the red key if you have it , chers

Just checked my program manuals and no luck with honda as they run a crypto 2 chip but try master lock services in webb str as he has more programing gear than me

not yet, keen to work out what other options there are including self programming it, spent my whole life working on bikes, still keen to learn

I programed my own on ST1300 .
Made a couple of connectors that plugged into loom under the seat I did have a PDF that may be of assistance I will try and find it :)
