Good afternoon all, my wife and I have recently moved to Taupo, we've been involved in a number of clubs and attended many charity rides while domiciled in Dorkland.
We've made the move and now we're reaching out to see if there any still alive and active Kiwi biker riders around here.
I'm currently riding an Africa Twin and Ratbag (KB Handle ) is riding a Suzuki Boulevard M50.
Just like to ride along and see whats around this beautiful place.

Ahh mate, you're in just the right spot to see the country as most do not.
Pop out to a Berm Buster.
. . . . might need some chunky tyres. Bit more ground clearance wouldn't go amiss.

You've moved to one of our favourite places. We're moving out of the retirement village later today to a very nice rental in Te Awamutu, whilst we look for a section and build new. Give us a couple of weeks to settle in and we'll head down and meet up with you. Have just added a Rocket III to the Spyder. Not bike related but I can thoroughly recommend the Wairakei Terraces hot pools to rest the weary muscles.

There was a dice run that happened on Sunday...Ulysses organised I think.
Taupo is a hub and there are always bikes passing through.
The Hawkes Bay Ulysses group often pass that way as the Napier Taupo road is an iconic bit of seal.
You could even ride over to Napier for a bit of fun.
