I am interested in getting a hold of at least one of these. It is not for a restoration so does not need to look good cosmetically it just needs to work as I am keen to use with a ingitech and a carb (which otherwise is exactly what I need) without being setup with a Throttle position sensor. The few ones on E-bay seem to be on there for restorers and are priced accordingly. Where I just want one to play with my ingitech on my bucket. So I am just wondering if there are any locally available?

The guys who got KG's stock when he shut up shop often have a site at the VCC swap meet.
That's where i found the MC22? Honda carbs for the bucket twin.
I know KG parted out at least one late RGV
Swap meet's coming up shortly.
Probably worth emailing Pete Sales too. Total Motorcycles.

I bought mine from some wrecker advertising on TM as wrecking complete bikes (then ask a question) quite a while back for same intended purpose for my RZ496.
Must find space for it.
Hmm bit empty atm. Try ringing around like the old days ?

Good point!, I know where I will be tomorrow and if that don't work I get in contact with this Pele Sales.
Asking on kiwibiker was a good idea.

I don't suppose you know what name they style them shelves as. It would made it easier to locate them tomorrow.

Sorry Neil, I don't. Last time I saw them there they were in the back of the easternmost bay - part shed end of the layout.

Pete Sales sent me the plastic pulley part which is missing the electronic sensor part but I am glad I got even that as I realised after one minute of playing with it, I had misunderstood how it worked but I am now completely convinced that it is what I need. So like I stated above I am still interested in either just the electronic sensor part or the whole thing.

The senser thing should be fairly generic to car stuff from memory and you tune it to the ignitech the hard part it the pulley to interface the cable reliably.
I'd pop downstairs to take a picture but that's difficult at present on crutches.

Yes, you are right the sensor would fairly easy to get a hold of, it is the interface (Plastic in the factory case, I could probably make one out of aluminium in my case.) between the pulley and the sensor that is my biggest problem right now.

FWIW I remember seeing pics of a works Honda 250 with 3 carbs. 2 as usual and the third was tied to the frame and being used with an inbuilt TPS.
Obviously a quick solution to finding and fitting TPS to an existing setup.
The Yamaha 450 4t singles have a carb with TPS. Must be a few of those wrecked by now.

Interesting. I do have some larger carbs with TPS built in but I think the RGV set up would be easier to tuck away. The Yamaha 4T thing might bring up some parts that might help . I will check it out. Cheers
