Hopefully someone can help me out with this. I have the pdf manual but it looks like its probably for the ZXR250C model which has a fully adjustable front fork.

With mine one is only able to adjust the compression - on the very top flat screw. I have this sorted and have set them to the same setting.

I'm having trouble with the preload adjustment though, unlike the C model the preload is adjusted with use of a something line an allan key which one sticks into a hole and uses to turn the ring below the compression screw on the top of the forks. I've tried turning it but it doens't seem to have an 'end' off which i I can gauge and calibrate both sides to be equal.

Is something wrong? Is there no end? Have I just not reached it yet?

Would appreciate some help as I'm pretty sure that unbalanced fork settings will cause some trouble...
