Maungatapu track-open/closed.

Hi all, especially Nelson ADV riders. The Nelson City Council site says it is closed to motorbikes due to the track being in poor condition. We are planning a ride over there next week-Pelorus to Nelson. Should we press on or back off?

Sorry for the delay in replying. The Maungatapu was perfectly rideable for a closed track, no issues at all. It was probably the highlight of our trip.
