Just had the rear mount break on my chain guard.

It appears on a couple of Forums this is a common fault ?

Easy fix (no welding !!!), is what I'm copying at the mo.

The Guard is alloy, but I've got some Stainless together with stainless bolts/nuts etc. Seems easy enough and as I said a fairly common problem ?

A mate has an aftermarket one with 'GSX1400' laser cut out of it.

Looks super ghey.

Glad you fixed yours in a far more appropriate manner.

Some might say only appropriate if you've run out of duct tape and zip ties, but OK
