I will find out who my mate used to ship a bike from Melbourne to Lyttelton. This will be a lesson in who to avoid because the fuckwits mucked up the labelling and sent his Speed Triple to the UK. They were complete fuckwits about it too.

I’ll just add that for anyone shipping/sending any item label it and label it again. If I had a dollar for every time a freight item ended up in a wrong depot and we know it’s not ours but we can’t redirect it because it was only labelled in one spot that’s now been scuffed off by forklift time drag or sudden rain shower etc.
Don’t just trust a forwarder when you drop something off with a verbal message of destination(not saying that’s what he did) A lot of these places handle way more freight than you can imagine, the real action starts after office hours as freight piles in from other collection locations.

Put destination on at least two seperate sides, include your senders address and a contact number. If an item is boxed put this info on inside again on large price of paper.

i put four labels on the outside, and one inside too, pass the parcel couriers are smart, they have a code which they ask is written on apackage in case main lable is lost, pretty simple and easy to print multiple labels
