Suzuki T500 front hub

I am after a Suzuki T500 Front Hub and Brake Plate. I am going to re-rim it with a Alloy rim, so don't care what the original rim is like or if even has one. As there is a metal polisher I know, who can refinish like what alloy looked in the 60's and 70's So I am not worried what the surface finish is like as long as it has not got big dents or cracks in the hub I would be interested

They are a pretty outer hub, There used to be a Fontana replica brake plate mold in CHCH made for use with the T500 hub.

A Fontana replica would be amazing! but I bet it is long gone. I have been told to not even look at early GT750 drums as they a worth a fortune. I am sure I could sort small cracks out, as I am going to have it polished anyway just really big cracks would be a problem.

They all crack from the little casting sprues halfway down the reinforcing ribs. Allegedly, if you find an uncracked one, grinding away the sprues and
polishing the ribs stops it cracking. Maybe.

Small cracks quickly become big cracks. The hub is quite thin section - and highly loaded.

The patterns for Fontana copy backplates I believe are in the hands of Terry Timms.

Terry Timms as one of the original funding members of CAMS.
There is a Terry Tim's that works for E type engineering in CHCH not sure if its the same one.
I remember Howard Anderson telling me used to have a unmachined blank, but I think he might be dead? Is that right Greg?
if he has the mold you can cast yourself a blank for the Fontana backplate
