Ordered something from their website but never received it. Their courier (Fasthorse, LoL) apparently left it in the letterbox but we never found it.
We have never had a problem with deliveries going missing before and our daughter (a Millennial) buys everything online.
The order was only $14 so no great loss.

$14, was it one of their Arai helmets?

I'm guessing either 100 Sheets Golden Leaf Foil Paper Gilding Art Craft 14x14cm, 4pcs Durable PP Plastic Hub Caps for 35.56cm Iron Wheels - Enhance Your Car's Look with Multiple Color Options or the Luxusy Retro Faux Leather Phone Case For iPhone 15 14 13 12 11 Pro Max 15 Plus 14 Plus Fashion Upholstered Wallet Card Slot Bag Shockproof Protect Cover.
Top quality gear on Temu.

Had a Quick Look once, it seems those super low prices are usually only for the first few things you buy. If you browse a bit further a lot of stuff is not that cheap (for the quality level).
China will win though, it’s a death by a thousand cuts to Amazon and others eventually. China totally owns the supply chains and thanks to American sanctions there is a concerted effort to replace everything with their own.

It appears to me that Temu is just a front end for purchasing the same things already available on Aliexpress, effectively a slightly more convenient way of buying cheap crap from China.
As I'm not completely averse to cheap crap from China, I have bought a couple of things without any dramas. All ok as long as your expectations are realistic, and better than joining the horrific situation that is the hordes of people queuing to buy the same cheap crap at the panda shop.
There are issues, such as people finding that their electrician won't install stuff they've bought that doesn't come with sDoC, or generally 'if it seems to good to be true' etc.
All of it is probably terribly unsustainable, and ultimately contributing one package at a time to the death of the planet.

There are clips of people reviewing Temu tool purchases on YouTube. One had a router which on casual inspection looked exactly like the Hitachi it represented itself to be. Some metal parts on the Hitachi though were plastic on the Temu equivalent, and when the Temu router was turned on it got too hot to hold.
Another guy bought another woodworking power tool, it had a drum with blades around the circumference presumably for cutting grooves in timber. It looked superficially similar to the name brand equivalent he already owned except that the blades protruded a long way out. The guy wasn't even game to turn it on in case the air was filled with flying blades.
Then some of the stuff is believed to be made by Uygher slave labour. No problem, I don't think Temu have got anything I need.

I'm having a fun email conversation with Fasthorse Express, who seem to think stuffing an oversize plastic envelope inside a letterbox is an acceptable delivery because their courier was too lazy to go up the drive and leave it at the front door.
I'll forward this to Temu soon and mention this will be my first and last order if they don't resolve it. It will be my last order anyway as I've never had any problems with AliExpress and will continue to use them for cheap stuff.

They wont leave me alone. That seems to be how they roll. Just don't install the app, then it gets really bad.

No way in hell I'd be letting them inside my phone.
