went all the way to woodhill from hams this morning only to find my f...ing quad wouldnt start!!!
next plan "flooded?" i said to my bro,"yeah, can smell the gas."
ok lets drag its sorry ass up and down the road till it clears.
no such luck,no spark as it turns out,no spare plug either!! frick!!
lets go south and find one, first service station, asians didnt know wot a spark plug was!! :bash:
next station, one plug on the shelf...FOR A LAWN MOWER!!
bugger this i thought after 3 more servo stations, off to auckland to nearest repco, bonzai!! found one, back to the beach, much fun to b had

i conclude by asking...with so many quads and bikes heading up that way,why the hell does no one stock spark plugs for them???

one guy told me"we dont sell many"
WELL,MAYBE IF YOU STOCKED THEM!!! :stupid:

shit that is bad luck tony, did you ask the bike park warden if he had one ? all the years I did that job I always kept a stock of plugs and other parts(levers and such like) we were always getting asked for shit... also you would have had to pass to very good off road bike shops, but I guess being long weekend they would be closed..

At the bike park, well sign posted, just follow signs from Rimmers rd to the bike park, large carpark both sides of the road.

Bad luck there dude.

I am wary of people who get stuck. My brother and I go 4wding a fair bit, and you come across people in really crappy 4wd delica vans or some semi 4WD like an HRV that is only good for towing a boat down to the beach, and he/she has buried the thing to the bumper, and after you rescue the 5th or 6th person in one day, you do get a bit sick of having to constantly stop what you are doing to help some quack out of a mudhole he was never gonna get out of.

Not saying this counts in your case, but thats why some 4WD'ers are a bit unhelpful sometimes.

At least you got some riding in.
