Syrian rebels bikes

I see on t'news the Syrian rebels appear to have been using motorcycle mounted units as their spearhead.

This is - afaik - a first. Probably only possible if you're expecting light resistance.

Anyway, i'm curious what they're using. Whatever the bikes are it looks like they did a bulk order.
Can we expect to see an advertising campaign built around this "the bike which conquered Syria" ?

Anyone able to identify make and model ?

They look like tag-alongs the official forces have picked up. No uniforms.

The "official" motorcycle squads appear well trained and equipped.

The old man had the first echelon despatch riders under his command in WW2 - until Crete anyway.
His diary is full of incidents like someone hitting the CO's car. Bunch of cowboys.
Can only speculate about the penalties for fucking up in an Islamic army.
