Motorcycle purchase and repurchase

We are two German motorcyclists who are coming to New Zealand in November and want to buy two motorcycles there. Does anyone know any dealers in New Zealand who sell motorcycles with a guaranteed buyback option?

Hi Hans. No leads sorry. You will have to try shops near where you fly in. Probably not the first time they have heard enquiries. Just be aware that we are just 5 million and not a huge base of motorcyclists. Also a lot of shops are hurting currently with quite a turndown if business.

You sound like you are intending to be here for a few months. Bring gear to suit all weathers. We usually do our group tour in November and encounter Stinking hot (occasionally) to biblical wet and a but chilly over the South Island passes.

As a North Islander we don't admit it to SI guys, but it is a magical place to tour. Especially off the beaten track. Google maps is your friend when you zoom down and find roads off the direct.
