We don't "know" much at all beyond that he died in prison and that his defence attorney was Alan Dershowitz. Epstein had a private Island in the US Virgin Islands. Yes, there is slight irony in that name. He had a 'plane on which he'd fly people to his island where they would be entertained. Young ladies (too young) entertained guests with 'massages'. Dershowitz admitted one such but claimed he kept his undies on.

There are, or were, flight logs including passenger manifests. We know that Virginia Giuffre was recruited from Mar A Lago where she worked. We know that she took legal action against Prince Andrew and that he settled. We know that she died in Perth, her death ruled as suicide.

There were detailed accusations of violent rape which are believed to have been withdrawn after death threats. And yes, Trump is believed to have featured. We don't 'know' that though. Yet.

There is speculation that there may be video evidence although that may be wishful thinking.

She was sentenced to twenty years "following a one-month jury trial, of conspiracy to entice minors to travel to engage in illegal sex acts, conspiracy to transport minors to participate in illegal sex acts, transporting a minor to participate in illegal sex acts, sex trafficking conspiracy, and sex trafficking of a minor." We know that she did not do all that for her own 'entertainment'. We know that she has appealed to the Supreme Court for review of this conviction.

Good question. Trump would presumably like to pardon her but even MAGA would think that was suspicious. There are legal moves underway because today is a deadline for the DoJ. Papers have been filed but I need to pay more attention to understand wassup.

Maxwell has applied for the Supreme Court to review her case. That would not be normal. SCOTUS review cases if there are complicated points of law or if two different appeals courts come up with different decisions. None of that applies in this instance.

Well we can forget the fantasies about which party wants what regarding the Epstein files. The Democrats moved a vote on releasing the files and all but one Republican voted against having the vote. It's definitely the Republicans in Congress who want to keep it quiet.

Megyn Kelly, formerly a talking head on FOX currently a podcast host, considers that Epstein is not a paedophile. According to her his preference was for the barely legal type. This is slightly puzzling because with the age of consent in the US being 18, girls aged 13 to 15 can not be considered “barely legal".

In this country there is a clear line at age 12. If the victim is under 12 that’s a different offence than if aged between 12 and 16. The US may not have such clarity.

In case the higher age of consent at 18 in the US gives the impression that Americans are more conservative, most US states have their own minimum age for marriage. Many permit marriage at 16 or even 15. Several still permit child marriages, there is no lower limit.

I’m not quite sure what point Ms Kelly was trying to make. Then again she is convinced Jesus was white.

The "files" held by the FBI are estimated to contain around 300 Gigabytes of data and other media. (about 300 Mb are publicly available)
They will include all the investigatory materials gathered for Einsteins initial Florida trial and his second arrest and charging, Maxwells trial and 20 year conviction and information on all other conspirators identified though those investigations.
The investigations did not just include the trafficking, but a huge web of international 'information trading' and Billions in financial transactions.

The FBI worked on Epstein records for two weeks during late March, according to Senator Dick Durbin.
He later wrote that Bondi had "pressured the FBI to put approximately 1,000 personnel...on 24-hour shifts to review approximately 100,000 Epstein-related records in order to produce more documents that could then be released on an arbitrarily short deadline. This effort...was haphazardly supplemented by hundreds of FBI New York Field Office personnel, many of whom lacked the expertise to identify statutorily-protected information regarding child victims and child witnesses or properly handle FOIA requests. My office was told that these personnel were instructed to "flag" any records in which President Trump was mentioned".

The DoJ have presumably been working diligently to sanitise the "files" so as to protect Trump. The recent surge of news relates to emails recently received from the Epstein family. Just some of what they have apparently. There's more to come?

I’ve been watching some interesting Chase Hughes interviews on S Ryan show. He postulates a theory that a lot of what we are supposed to be outraged about could just be a big pschy op on society. The end goal kinda being a burnout of outrage so we become apathetic to the changes they are actually making to society….

Watched an interview with the writer Michael Wolff who features heavily in the emails as he maintains he ‘embedded’ himself in Epstein’s circle purely to get dirt on him for his various books, strikingly he recalls being shown photo(s) of Donald with a topless young girl sitting on his lap.

It’s all hearsay, but if those photos exist, the FBI have them and know someone else has copies (Maxwell?), that would explain a lot.

No doubt much 'Trump Fuckery' will still transpire, before the public actually see anything real.

Congress voted to release the files. The Senate flicked it straight on to Trump who says he will sign. The Department of Justice announced an inquiry.

It may be cynical of me but I expect to hear that evidence will be withheld "because of the ongoing investigation".
