Righto..gonna have to take the plunge...sigh... Would prefer a big nasty B'stard600...Buuuut.."I fought the law and the law won" :psst:

So I am looking for one of these please CBR250RR (http://www.yokohama-city.com/mc/impre/fo_bike/cbr25rr.jpg) with as low K's as possible..I'm gonna fix it up..mess around with Cams, exhaust etc etc..so it has enough pow to scare some of you mountain riders :headbang:

And to ensure it is durable enough for daily commute games...so If you know any person with an MC22 for sale..get in touch on 021386049 with vital statistics of the bike ie: Year, Km's, condition, and your name...oh and your ONO$

I'd suggest not fucking with the cams, and only put a can on the exhaust, the cams that are in them suit them very well. If you must modify it, I put a thread up here somewhere do a search for "hotting up a cbr"

Firstly learn to ride the bike well, you'll still scare riders on bigger bikes with a standard MC22

Then get it tuned (or do it yourself) set the tappets, clean and rebuild the carbs, set them up properly, every 1 or 2 horsepower does make a difference when you're dealing with a 45 Bhp beast

Cheers HDT, I shall be in touch in this regard... I'm not sure if I am a good rider anymore..but used to be on my previous bikes...sigh..I haven't been riding for the last 4 years...my last bike was an RVF..(my old dream bike..sigh again) had it for all of 3 months before a SPORTS accident broke my collar bone dislocated my shoulder..(ACC suk ass) it was 11 weeks before I got any payout..so I had to sell my bike to pay the bills...survival has its low points!!

I shall be searching for your Thread shortly..my initial mod will be a Neptune can..but will need to free flow Dyno first to see where we can get the best mix of torque/revs etc tappets clearance..needles and carb job all gonna happen...any ideas about squeezing juice and value out is worthwhile.

I have a neptune can mate, makes all the difference :niceone:

Like HDT said, don't fuck with what is running right. Tune it to its peak performance and leave it like that cause you won't get much from an already outstanding bike.

BTW, you can have mine with all the damage :) :p

Read it love it..I am going to stick with Good Can..possibly Neptune :doobey: ..and be happy to poodle about for the next 6 months etc  When I get the next urge for surge..I may just get a machine that will suit my riding styles :bash: and tongs..with a touch of german logic..

:Offtopic: I am in no way to be considered as a German or any relative there of..they just have a very precise madness about them :stupid:

I'll be selling mine soon. Front fairing and front mudgaurd have been plastic welded and repainted and look really good. Just got the tank fixed and repainted and are getting an original sticker to replace the old scratched one on the side. Also got a nice crankcase sidecover to put on to replace the 'worn' one. The side fairings and seat cowling are original and in really good condition. Will be getting a Cycleworks muffler too. Everything else is in fine condition, and the bike only has 21000k's. Will be looking at $7000 as Colmans Suzuki got away with it :p
