Can't say I remember this, Aaron Slight riding the one-off KR250 at the 1992 Daytona races http://www.amasuperbike.com/kr250.htm

I sure saw Hansford and others doing well back in the 70s during the Marlboro series on the early KR250s and was aware of Ballington and Mang's world titles on the 250 and 350.

OK so no one is interested in Kawasakis then.

Man, That was an interesting article.

Yeah that's why I posted it, I had never heard of the upside down V-Twin before, let alone Aaron riding it.

I was there! They've all but eliminated 250's in US these days, just regional racing, but I loved them at Daytona. We used to get a few odd bods come over, apart from the aforementioned Aaron Slight. I know I saw Chas Mortimer and John McGuinness in the latter years, and we'd always get a few South Americans trying to beat the locals and make a bit of money, withouta lot of success, I might add.
RIP AMA 250 class.
Cheers
