Hi to everyone, finally I was back on a bike again after a few years driving a cage, that was until some delightful young man decided to do a "U" turn in front of me. After riding the beast (Kawasaki Z1300) through the side of his Civic I am restoring it back to how it should be.
I have just opened a garage in Whangaparaoa for car repairs, Wof's and even bike Wof's.
Great to know there is a community out there for bikers, I will be up for the weekend runs once the bike is back on the road. :niceone:

Welcome :niceone:

I may not have a classic bike like yours but I'm certainly old enough to fall into the vintage category myself

Enjoy the site - great bunch of people.

Welcome, and keep us posted on the twin turbo thing, you might want to have a chat to death_inc (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/member.php?u=716) , he's supposed to be the resident turbo expert . . .

I have got 2 of them, the first one I am restoring back to original and the second is going to be a bit modified, overbore to 1400 or 1500 depending on which kit I can get, fuel injection off a zg1500 and twin Toyota Starlet turbo's and 6 pot calipers all round to stop it again.

That should wake the old girl up.

Welcome to KB C Zed. Very nice bikes you have there. :niceone:
Bugger one was rearranged by a civic.
Hope you weren't badly hurt by the event.
Cheers

Thanks to everyone for the welcome, as for the bike, the boss (wife) says when this one is finished I can build the next one.

Having said that I have been gradually collecting the bits from e-bay, its a great place for bike spares.
