F/F :spudwave:Thanks Dave, I had an excellent ride today! :not:

I left my house this morning at 9.30am and arrived back at 6.30pm, about an hour or so down at the track spectating and talking bikes, the rest of the time I spent in the saddle blasting all over our awesome country roads.

22 was superb, rode down most of it until about 15mins before Ngaruawahia when you turn left and ride thru to Huntly where we stopped for gas. Headed back north via the secret roads, onto 22 again and then down to Mercer where we crossed SH1 to that road that goes up to the Castle cafe, back up thru Hunua and over the top to Bombay. I was escorted by Marmoot (1/2 way) and Stifarms who went his separate way at 4pm... :wavey:

I was so enjoying my riding I ended up going back down Runciman Rd and onto SH1 all the way through to SH16 and I nearly got to Kaukopakopa except I saw these 3 lunatics riding an R1, ZX-10, and another bike so I turned around and we carved up SH16 & SH28 together...no holds barred...I ended up zooming past them and headed for home - wow what a day I tell ya, feeling a little exhausted now!! :2thumbsup

Great roads, weather was A1 for riding with no wind or rain, overcast cloud cover and a mild temperature which made for energetic, enjoyable motorcycling. Can't wait till the next one!

Attached are some of todays pics of 22 & 16.

Ps. As I pulled into my driveway I looked at my days mileage and saw I had done 457kms, and the odometer is reading exactly 50,000kms!!! :D
