There were a number of guys used to race these down at Gracefield back in the 80s - they are pretty competitive on a short track.

A bit brutal as a bush hack though... :mellow:

i think they are about 62-65 hp, they are insane, my ktm sx250 is about 52hp and thats heaps for what i do.

I have only ever ridded 2 500 smoke mx bikes - an 89 kx500 and a 93 cr500, both were just insane wheelie machines, with ass ripping powerband, the cr was a tricked up bike my cuz had scored from somewhere in the usa, it was a 4 speed. had black plastics trick suspension, can remember if it was whitepower or ohlins

the 500s should come with a big set of brass balls cause u generally will need them to ride this bike anywhere near its limits, hope you have medical insurance :) good luck

That just makes me want to get one even more. Maybe if the CBR sells for a good price. Almost ready to sell
