Its a Toyota Ute thingy!
Dark green, late model.
VERY LOW KEY!!
Id seen him before on my way out of Waikanae in the mornings, but never really taken any notice of him. This morning, i saw him pulling a BMW 650 over just outside Paraparaumu.
Look out people!!

That dark green ute has been in the Kapiti/Horowhenua/Manawatu region for months - we see it regularly. You can tell it's a cop vehicle as you can see the lights on the dashboard.

Bloody hell, what next? It's hard enough when they're only in Holdens and Fords (with the odd Toyota Camry here and there)...
What else do they use?

Yeah, agree with Speedmedic. Seen a green ute often. I split past a black Commo mufti with a rear-mounted radar today too... hopefully a ticket won't arrive in the mail. That'll teach me for taking the duct tape from the weekend off the number plate.
I've also seen a red (I think it was red) Mazda 6 sedan a few months back. There's a green Commodore that I see frequently on the mway coming home, but judging by the lack of radar, lack of uniform and lack of caring about my splitting, I'm guessing it's probably just a senior D-cop from head office on his way home.
And the Hutt cops were still using an old beat up mid-90s blue Laser hatch for the boy racers in the carpark when I last looked six months ago.
